Wow, this is an incredible blog, and I love this post.
That information about the cycle of the sun is inspiring, and I'm going to try it. I love the food, and that the kids are eating it. Do you have more info about feeding kids raw, and do you feed them mostly raw? I'm wanting to transition my whole family, but my husband is resistant. My daughter has problems with excema, asthma and acid reflux that I think would be cured.
Anyway, thanks for the great post.

omgosh! did I even mention those are my FRESH FRIES made out of RAW jicima- so tasty!!! Just peel and slice your jicima into 'fries' and drizzle EVOO (extra-virgin olive oil- organic!) ontop, and then sprinkle some chili pepper or paprika for color with some high quality sun-dried sea salt- greasy and crunchy and salty, serve with my CEASAR salad using raw tahini and garlic and lemon and evoo and ss! what a FAST and KID-FREINDLY dinner, a CEASAR and FRIES! xo

Thanks girls! Btw, it looks a bit like cheddar cheese in the photos, but it was my son's idea- sliced raw sweet potato!
And the blobs in the 'Lettuce luv U' boats are steamed artichokes- not exactly raw, but a wonderful cooked choice loaded with vitamins and minerals that we dip into fresh lemon juice, minced garlic and olive oil. You are sure to find a few good tricks and treats in my upcoming LUNCHBOX recipes, so stay tuned, Petals! xoxo

Shannon -- great post. I love hearing about your family, and your great tips on how to eat better. It would be great if I could rediscover my waist and gain energy!! I think I'm on my way there now, but your ideas and inspiration sure help! And your raw food always looks so gorgeous and yummy. Now I just have to learn to make food that my kids will love eating as much as your kids love eating your meals. :-)

Shannon, this is just fabulous. So inspiring. You just glow in that photo, and it's obvious your boys are enjoying those plates of food! By the way, is that seed or nut cheese on the pieces of lettuce?

Thanks for sharing all of this wonderful information.

Blissing to you, too!
